Beautiful Resistance
Beautiful Resistance is a powerful new feature documentary directed by Academy Award-nominated filmmaker Fernando Meirelles (City of God, The Two Popes), following Indigenous land defender and international model Quannah Chasinghorse as she fights for climate justice—from the Arctic to the Amazon. The film explores what meaningful climate reparations could look like, and who is paying the highest price.
From the award-winning teams behind The Great Green Wall and Blue Carbon, this international co-production is now in development. Dutch producer Tom de Jong (Medianauts) supports the project as European co-producer, leading efforts around funding, partnerships, and distribution across the continent.
