For Tempur, we developed and wrote the concept for Het Diepe Slaap Effect, a branded documentary series that blends science, storytelling, and practical insights. This infotainment series explores what it truly means to sleep weightlessly, diving into questions like: Why do we toss and turn? How does deep sleep restore the body? And how does Tempur’s technology support the science of better sleep?

 

By combining expert insights with engaging storytelling, Het Diepe Slaap Effect positions Tempur as a thought leader—not just selling sleep, but educating and inspiring audiences on how to achieve it in its purest form. Because the better we understand sleep, the better we live.

For Het Diepe Slaap Effect, we knew that deep sleep isn’t just a feeling—it’s a science. To create a compelling and credible branded documentary series, we needed to dive deep into research before shaping the narrative.

 

This was a high-research, high-casting project, requiring us to understand the complexities of sleep cycles, sleep behavior, and sleep disorders. From this foundation, we distilled the must-tell insights—balancing scientific accuracy with engaging storytelling.

 

With tight production constraints, we designed a format that was both structured and adaptable, allowing us to inform, entertain, and showcase Tempur’s expertise in a natural and compelling way. The result? A series that doesn’t just talk about better sleep—it makes audiences want to experience it for themselves.
