Sun Eclipse | Too hot!?

A familiar problem, told in a way you wouldn’t expect.

For this campaign, we developed a concept that takes a classic commercial premise—a product solving an everyday issue—and turns it into something visually playful and unexpected.

It’s too hot to work, and our protagonist, played by the brilliant Bert Hana, is trying to keep his cool in an important business meeting. But the heat is relentless, and soon reality starts to warp—sauna walls appear, the temperature rises, and the meeting turns surreal.

The solution? Sun Eclipse. A simple, effective, and affordable way to beat the heat.

By blending humor, surreal visuals, and sharp storytelling, this campaign grabs attention while delivering the message in a way that sticks. It’s a commercial that does more than just sell—it entertains, surprises, and makes the audience feel the heat.

Approach

For Sun Eclipse, we worked with Brandbro’s to develop and pitch a concept that was both playful and effective. With director Bram Koopman, we shaped the idea into a commercial that needed no dialogue—making it instantly adaptable for international markets.

This meant casting was crucial. We needed an actor who could tell the entire story through expression and movement alone. Bert Hana delivered exactly that, bringing humor and clarity to every scene.

The next challenge? Location. The set had to work for both film and photography, meaning we needed large, well-lit windows to showcase the product. After an extensive search, we secured the perfect spot, allowing both productions to run seamlessly.

With tight planning, the right talent, and a streamlined shoot, we created a campaign that’s visually engaging, globally scalable, and impossible to ignore.
