KWF | Every day counts

Every day, researchers push forward, searching for better treatments and breakthroughs in cancer research. Their work is relentless, their discoveries life-changing—but behind every breakthrough lies years of dedication, challenges, and persistence.

In this KWF documentary series, we step inside the world of leading scientists and top medical experts, uncovering the reality of cutting-edge cancer research. From immunotherapy in breast cancer to robot-assisted surgeries for pancreatic cancer, these films reveal the urgency, complexity, and impact of their work.

This isn’t just science—it’s the relentless fight to save lives. And every day, every discovery, brings us one step closer.

Approach

Writing for KWF is more than storytelling—it’s about honoring real people, groundbreaking research, and a subject that deeply affects millions. This level of responsibility demands more than just a strong script. It requires deep research, sensitivity, and a production team that can operate at the highest level.

From the very start, we approached this project with precision and respect. Every word, every scene had to be carefully considered—not only to tell an impactful and accurate story, but also to fit within the realities of filming in hospitals and research centers. Working around the schedules of top medical experts and researchers, we designed a production plan that was both agile and highly structured.

This meant bringing in a world-class crew—professionals who could capture the best content under tight constraints, in delicate environments, without ever compromising the story. A challenge? Absolutely. But this is exactly what Medianauts does best. Complex topics, high-level execution, and stories that don’t just inform—but truly connect.
